Basketball Game Preview: Hayden Tigers vs. Vail Mountain Gore Rangers

The Hayden Tigers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Vail Mountain Gore Rangers at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hayden will be strutting in after a victory while Vail Mountain will be coming in after a loss.

It was a proper cat-fight when Hayden duked it out withNorth Park on Friday. Hayden came out on top against North Park by a score of 46-33. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Vail Mountain played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by De Beque 67-18. While losing is never fun, the Gore Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while the Dragons are ranked 114th).

Hayden's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Vail Mountain, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-8.
