Friendswood lost to Ball back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Mustangs blew past the Tornadoes 47-12. With the Mustangs ahead 31-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Ball's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Juwaan Woodbury, who picked up 93 receiving yards and one score.

The victory made it two in a row for Friendswood and bumps their season record up to 2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 19 points in those games. As for Ball, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Friendswood will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against La Porte at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Ball, they will square off against Westside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
