Recap: Cordova Wolves vs. Arlington Tigers
The Cordova Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 59-25 loss at the hands of Arlington. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cordova of the 61-29 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Arlington was led to victory by Zaria Moss and Taylor Miller. Moss scored 22 points along with two steals, while Miller scored 14 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Miller hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Wirt, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Cordova's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Arlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.
Cordova does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arlington, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Germantown at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th.
