It was a good run, but Yukon unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Southmoore SaberCats, falling 5-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Yukon's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-3. As for Southmoore, they moved to 9-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Yukon will be playing at home against Norman at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Norman's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Southmoore, they will take on Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
