Basketball Recap: Morningside Academy Find Success

If Tradition Prep wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Morningside Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Arianah Wallace. The Morningside Academy Eagles claimed a resounding 55-22 victory over the Tradition Prep Pirates thanks in part to Wallace, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Morningside Academy's points.

Calleigh Crawford was another key player, putting up four points along with 12 rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards.

Morningside Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Tradition Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Morningside Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-53 victory against John Carroll Catholic on the 20th. As for Tradition Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-23 defeat against Atlantic Christian on the 18th.
