Volleyball Recap: Stagg Falls Short of Oak Park-River Forest in the Playoffs

Stagg and Oak Park-River Forest squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Stagg had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Huskies.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21.

Michael Kos paced Stagg's offense, picking up 12 kills. Kos got some help from Dennis Tocila and his 19 assists.

Stagg's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 21-15. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-4 record this season.

Stagg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Lyons on the 31st.
