Soccer Recap: DSST: Green Valley Ranch Comes Up Short

DSST: Green Valley Ranch lost against Regis Groff back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raptors came up short against the Fusion, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, DSST: Green Valley Ranch can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 157th, while Regis Groff are ranked 17th).

DSST: Green Valley Ranch is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6-1. As for Regis Groff, their win bumped their record up to 5-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DSST: Green Valley Ranch will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Westminster at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Regis Groff, they will venture away from home to square off against Denver South at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
