Baseball Game Preview: Kellogg Wildcats vs. Priest River Spartans

Kellogg is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Priest River a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Kellogg Wildcats will be playing at home against the Priest River Spartans at 3:00 p.m. Kellogg has given up an average of 18.9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kellogg lost 21-5 to Bonners Ferry on Thursday.

Kellogg saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Keller, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. That run was Keller's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Priest River fell victim to Newport and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 2-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Priest River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Kellogg, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
