Clinton had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the James Kenan Tigers 3-0. The Dark Horses haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-15.

Leading Clinton to victory were Cameron Marshburn and Jenna Jackson. Marshburn had 11 digs and three aces, while Jackson had 11 assists and three digs. Marshburn has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Clinton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Wallace-Rose Hill on the 13th. As for James Kenan, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against North Duplin on the 12th.
