Baseball Recap: Madison Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Madison had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lisbon Greyhounds. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greyhounds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Madison saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bobby Vigue, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Madison is set to take on their familiar foe Maranacook at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lisbon will challenge rival Mount Abram at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
