Softball Recap: Glenn Rockets vs. Lutheran Warriors
Glenn had to endure a six-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged the Lutheran Warriors out 5-3. The victory was just what Glenn needed coming off of a 14-0 loss in their prior matchup.
Brooklyn Busby was a standout: she went 4-for-4 with three RBI. Another player making a difference was Sam Farrell, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Glenn made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenn will challenge Fordson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lutheran, they will head out on the road to face off against Oakland Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
