The Notre Dame de Sion Storm scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Sumner Academy 77-13 at home. Notre Dame de Sion has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.
Notre Dame de Sion got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Taelyn Smith out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. Smith is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Sydney Blaine was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Notre Dame de Sion's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for Sumner Academy, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
