Softball Game Preview: Buffalo Bison vs. Nitro Wildcats

The Buffalo Bison will face off against the Nitro Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Buffalo will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

While Buffalo didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 7-3 win over Midland Trail on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Nitro took on Lincoln County on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 24-2 to the Panthers.

Nitro saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madeline Given, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

Buffalo's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Nitro, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Buffalo might still be hurting after the 12-0 loss they got from Nitro in their previous matchup back in March of 2019. Can the Bison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
