Basketball Recap: Greensboro Day School's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Greensboro Day School came into Friday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Forsyth Country Day Furies by a score of 57-48 on Friday. Given the Bengals' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Furies are ranked 207th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Furies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lila Kelly, who posted 21 points. Another player making a difference was Gigi Lyons, who had 12 points.
