Volleyball Recap: Palmetto Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Miami

Palmetto faced Miami in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Palmetto fell just short of Miami by a score of 2-1. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Stingarees recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Palmetto's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Miami, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Coincidentally, Palmetto and Miami will both be playing Columbus the next time they take the court. Palmetto will head out to face Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Miami will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
