Soccer Game Preview: Harker Heights vs. Bryan

Harker Heights hasn't had much luck against Bryan recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Knights will be playing at home against the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Harker Heights' last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Harker Heights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Killeen. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Harker Heights' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 214th, while Killeen are ranked 750th).

Meanwhile, Bryan narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Copperas Cove 3-2. That's two games straight that Bryan have won by just one goal.

Bryan's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-3-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for Harker Heights, their win bumped their record up to 7-2-1.

Harker Heights might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Bryan in their previous meeting back in February of 2025. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
