Basketball Recap: Windsor Dukes vs. Lakeland Cavaliers
Windsor unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 53-19 loss at the hands of the Lakeland Cavaliers on Thursday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakeland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Janae Carter, who earned 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alainah Overton, who scored 12 points.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while.
