St. Louis HomeSchool P waltzed into their match  on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   6-5 W against the North County Raiders. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered  a  20-16  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 St. Louis HomeSchool P let  Will Schark and  Vinny Tornatore run wild. Schark  scored a  run while going 2-for-4, while  Tornatore  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances. Tornatore has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Ben Janssen, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
St. Louis HomeSchool P now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for North County, they now  have a losing record of 2-3.
 Looking ahead, St. Louis HomeSchool P will host Winfield  at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday. As for North County, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  7-2  victory against West County on the 27th.
