Lloyd Memorial took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Scott, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Juggernauts had just enough and edged out the Eagles 2-1. This was payback for the Juggernauts, who suffered a 10-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lloyd Memorial's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Evan West, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Those two hits gave West a new career-high.

The victory got Lloyd Memorial back to even at 6-6. As for Scott, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Coming up, Lloyd Memorial will square off against Highlands at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Scott, they will face off against Grant County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 3.8, the Braves 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
