Newberg scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 77-60 to the Roseburg Indians. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

Newberg is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Roseburg, the win snapped their losing streak at five games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newberg will head out to square off against Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newberg has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Roseburg will take on Corvallis in a holiday battle at at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
