Claremont came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged out the Ayala Bulldogs 12-9. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolfpack also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Claremont's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Ayala, they moved to 11-9 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Claremont will face off against rival St. Lucy's at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Ayala is set to challenge their familiar foe Glendora at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bulldogs 10.8, the Tartans 6.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
