Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marlette). They snuck past the Memphis Yellowjackets with a 30-24 win on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Red Raiders: when they faced off against the Yellowjackets back in January, they had to take a 31-21 defeat.

Marlette's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Memphis, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Looking ahead, Marlette will be playing at home against Brown City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brown City's defense has only allowed 28.1 points per game this season, so Marlette's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Memphis, they have already played their next match, a 49-13 loss against Harbor Beach on the 10th.
