Softball Recap: Port Allen Takes a Loss

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Port Allen was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 12-1 to the Episcopal Knights. The Pelicans haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Port Allen saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marsha Shirley, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Port Allen now has a losing record of 3-4.

Coming up, Port Allen will take on Parkview Baptist at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Episcopal, they will head out to challenge Family Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
