Basketball Recap: Imagine School at North Port Skates Past Naples Classical with Ease

Imagine School at North Port entered their tilt with Naples Classical on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They claimed a resounding 83-42 win over the Naples Classical Academy. The Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 26 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Imagine School at North Port to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zahmir Jackson, who went 9 for 21 on his way to 21 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The game was Jackson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennen Taft, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 14 points along with six assists and five boards.

Imagine School at North Port smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Imagine School at North Port's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Naples Classical, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Imagine School at North Port will face off against Bradenton Christian at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Naples Classical, they will take on Everglades City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
