Baseball Recap: Alvord Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Alvord extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 16-7. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Lindsay Knights. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

As for Lindsay, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since March 14th.

For Lindsay's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Franco, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Alvord will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
