Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Wildcats vs. Middle Township Panthers

The St. Joseph Wildcats lost against the Middle Township Panthers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. St. Joseph was dealt a 70-35 defeat at the hands of the Panthers. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. Joseph has scored all season.

Middle Township got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bubba McNeil out in front who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamir McNeil, who scored six points along with eight assists and five steals.

St. Joseph's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Middle Township, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

St. Joseph will be playing at home against the Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Middle Township, they will head out on the road to take on the Fighting Irish at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The timing isn't great for Camden Catholic: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while the Panthers have snatched up 14 consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.
