Soccer Recap: Hondo Comes Up Short

Hondo lost against Somerset back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hondo Owls came up short against the Somerset Bulldogs, falling 4-1.

Hondo has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's still a better percentage than their 3-11 record this season. The victory (which was Somerset's third in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Hondo will challenge Floresville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Floresville's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last six matches. As for Somerset, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Poteet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
