Soccer Recap: Liberty Christian Takes a Loss

Liberty Christian fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Nolan Catholic on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Nolan Catholic Vikings by a score of 5-4. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost eight in a row.

Liberty Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Nolan Catholic, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Parish Episcopal the next time they take the pitch. Nolan Catholic will host Parish Episcopal at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd, while Liberty Christian will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on January 27th.
