Flag Football Game Preview: San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves vs. Temecula Prep Patriots

Two dominant wideouts in Kaahliyah Lacy and Amina Antoine are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves will be playing at home against the Temecula Prep Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. San Jacinto Valley Academy will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, San Jacinto Valley Academy beat California Military Institute 19-13. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wolves' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Rough Riders are ranked 590th).

Samantha Moore went supernova, throwing for 145 yards and three TDs.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Temecula Prep's offense. They lost 24-0 to Ramona on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Patriots have suffered since August 18th.

San Jacinto Valley Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Temecula Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.

San Jacinto Valley Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Temecula Prep in their previous matchup on September 9th, but they still walked away with a 12-6 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Antoine, who rushed for 125 yards and one score on only eight carries. Now that she's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Wolves still be able to contain Antoine? There's only one way to find out.
