Baseball Recap: Swampscott Takes a Loss

Swampscott was the 8-3 winner over Gloucester when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Big Blue fell 4-1 to the Fishermen on Wednesday.

Swampscott has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Gloucester, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Swampscott will head out to square off against Stoneham at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gloucester, they will venture away from home to challenge Northeast Metro RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
