Soccer Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Roane County Yellowjackets. If Heritage were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to Roane County when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Roane County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage will head out to challenge West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage's defense better be ready for this one: West have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season. As for Roane County, they will head out on the road to face off against Anderson County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
