Basketball Recap: Port Clinton Comes Up Short

Port Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 49-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bowsher BlueRacers. The Redskins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the BlueRacers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Port Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Bowsher, the win snapped their losing streak at 14 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-13 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Port Clinton will square off against Vermilion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bowsher, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against St. Francis de Sales at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
