After a string of seven wins, Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spring Valley Grizzlies. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Grizzlies from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Lara Gavrilovic paced Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas' offense, picking up seven kills. Gavrilovic got some help from Analeigh Na and her 14 assists. Na was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas' defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Spring Valley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-8.
