Geneva had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the Cleburne County Tigers 3-2 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won four contests in a row.

Geneva's victory bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Cleburne County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Geneva will square off against Orange Beach at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Cleburne County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
