The biggest upset of the week belonged to Bishop Garrigan, who took down 166th ranked Bishop Garrigan, 26-18.

West Hancock extended the longest winning streak in A District 2 this week by beating Prairie Valley, 8-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Eagles.

Newman Catholic's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jack Fitzgerald has thrown for 421 yards and one touchdown this season, while Spencer Schmidt has six catches for 186 yards. Joe Burgmeier leads the league in rushing with 1182 yards.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Newman Catholic takes on West Hancock. The Knights' offense has racked up 243 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Bob Sanger's team has allowed only 95 on the year.

The Warriors moved up to 125 from 152 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in A District 2. Prairie Valley was able to make the jump by losing to the Eagles 8-6.
