Soccer Game Preview: Philip Barbour vs. Lincoln + How To Watch

The Philip Barbour Colts will square off against the Lincoln Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Philip Barbour and six for Lincoln.

Philip Barbour fell victim to Keyser and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Tornado.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lincoln duked it out with Elkins on Thursday. The Cougars came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Lincoln can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Elkins are ranked 29th).

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17-1. As for Philip Barbour, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15-1.

Philip Barbour couldn't quite get it done against Lincoln in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 4-2. Can the Colts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
