Baseball Recap: Buckeye Trail Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

While Buckeye Trail's win against Shenandoah wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Buckeye Trail sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over Shenandoah on Saturday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Zeps recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Buckeye Trail pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Shenandoah, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
