Soccer Game Preview: Burncoat vs. Douglas

The Burncoat Patriots are taking a road trip to take on the Douglas Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Burncoat will head out to face Douglas after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. The Patriots fell 4-2 to North. While losing is never fun, Burncoat can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while North are ranked 113th).

Meanwhile, Douglas has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the 2nd. They and Hopedale finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Friday. The victory was some much-needed relief for Douglas as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Burncoat's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-5. Douglas' draw gives them a new season record of 3-11-2.
