Soccer Game Preview: Conrad Science vs. St. Mark's

The Conrad Science Red Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the St. Mark's Spartans at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Conrad Science is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to nine goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against Brandywine on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs. Surprisingly, this marked Conrad Science's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, St. Mark's kept a clean sheet against Woodbridge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering St. Mark's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Delaware soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Woodbridge are ranked 30th).

Conrad Science's loss dropped their record down to 5-10-1. As for St. Mark's, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season.

Conrad Science took their win against St. Mark's when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Wolves since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
