Shenandoah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 6-3 to the Barnesville Shamrocks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Shamrocks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in April.

Shenandoah got a good showing from William Wilson, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Wilson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Dakoda Rich made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Cline, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Shenandoah's record is now 3-21. As for Barnesville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Shenandoah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Barnesville, they will challenge Buckeye Local at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
