Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central suffered their biggest defeat since December 9, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Calhoun Tigers, falling 75-53. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Calhoun, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Central nor Calhoun have any future games scheduled.
