Basketball Recap: Chilton Comes Up Short

Chilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Two Rivers Purple Raiders, falling 56-34. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 379th, while the Purple Raiders are ranked 162nd).

Chilton's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Two Rivers, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Two Rivers beat Chilton by a score of 56-34 on Tuesday.
