Football Recap: Philadelphia Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Philadelphia extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They lost to the Bay Springs Bulldogs on the road by a 32-15 margin. If the Tornadoes were looking for revenge after losing 28-26 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Bay Springs, their win bumped their record up to 3-1. The contest marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Malaki Owens produced another solid performance rushing for 196 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Jaylen Flowers was in the mix as well, providing Bay Springs with two touchdowns.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Philadelphia will head out to challenge West Lauderdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bay Springs, they will venture away from home to take on Quitman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
