Baseball Game Preview: Brunswick Blue Devils vs. Euclid Panthers

Brunswick is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Euclid a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Brunswick Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Euclid Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Neither Brunswick nor Euclid posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Brunswick and Medina had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Bees by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Blue Devils have lost by just one run.

Joey Crawford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on three hits.

At the plate, Brunswick saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jakob Miller, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Euclid faced off against Cleveland Heights on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 18-1 to the Tigers.

Euclid's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Brunswick, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Everything went Brunswick's way against Euclid in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Brunswick made off with an 11-0 win. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
