Creekview lost to River Ridge back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Creekview Grizzlies' defense stepped up to hand the River Ridge Knights a 1-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Grizzlies have won by just one goal.

Creekview is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those six matchups. This is the second loss in a row for River Ridge and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Creekview will head out to face off against Sequoyah at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sequoyah has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with five straight defeats, while Creekview will come in with three straight wins. As for River Ridge, they will head out on the road to challenge Lassiter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lassiter knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully River Ridge likes a good challenge.
