Volleyball Recap: Britton-Hecla Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Airiana Buer and Ava Teveldal

Britton-Hecla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Iroquois/Doland. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Iroquois/Doland apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

Ava Teveldal and Airiana Buer certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Teveldal had 23 digs, while Buer had ten assists and four digs. Kennady Van Lith also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Britton-Hecla's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Britton-Hecla didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Langford on the 15th. Iroquois/Doland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
