Preview: New Underwood vs. Kadoka
On Friday Kadoka take on New Underwood at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps national rankings predict a close match.
Kadoka came within a touchdown against Lyman last week, but wound up with a 22-30 loss. Kadoka's defeat came about despite a quality game from senior Marcus Herber, who picked up 73 yards on the ground and accumulated 165 passing yards. In fact, with 12 tackles Herber was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, it was a close one, but New Underwood sidestepped Philip for a 20-18 victory.
New Underwood's win lifted them to 2-1 while Kadoka's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if New Underwood can add another positive mark to their record or if Kadoka can shake off the loss and take the spring out of New Underwood's step.
