Football Recap: Midview Extends Winning Streak to Two

Midview won the last time they faced North Olmsted, and Marcus McMahon did his part to make sure it happened again. The Middies walked away with a 27-20 win over the Eagles on Friday with plenty of help from McMahon, who rushed for 155 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also picked up 85 receiving yards and one TD. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 86 yards.

Midview has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 37.5 points this season. As for North Olmsted, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midview will host Elyria Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Olmsted, they will be playing at home against Steele at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
