Soccer Recap: Sebring Comes Up Short

Sebring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the DeSoto County Bulldogs an easy 4-1 win. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Streaks of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

Their goal came courtesy of Tristan Oginski, who's now up to eight this season.

Sebring's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-3. As for DeSoto County, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sebring will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hardee at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. DeSoto County also won't see the pitch for a while: their next match is against Lemon Bay at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
