Basketball Recap: Goochland Comes Up Short

Goochland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Charlottesville Black Knights and fell 86-7. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 400th, while the Black Knights are ranked 38th).

Goochland's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Charlottesville, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goochland will challenge Fuqua at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Charlottesville, they will square off against Albemarle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
